Our Colleagues at Fextralife Introduce a Fresh Hub for Custom Content
The customization community is more larger or so sought after as it is today. Modders who designed new mechanics for beloved games such as Skyrim and Baldur’s Gate III have landed major industry jobs. Entire games were created using existing foundations. Someone even figured out how to make Silksong somewhat more accessible.
Indeed, in this time, everything appears achievable with a concept, technical expertise, and a bit of initiative. So it’s no surprise that more of the industry is looking to support that continuously expanding customization network, and that our pals at Fextralife are participating in the initiative. On Tuesday, the wiki site announced it would enhance its portfolio with the FXMods platform, a fresh modding hub created for users who desire a fast, free, and unthrottled mods to enrich their preferred titles.
FXMods assures to be a complimentary system with unrestricted download rates, no queue, and connection to the comprehensive Fextralife resource network, which seeks to enable developers to obtain increased recognition as players find their content within a broader collection.
What’s the hope for FXMods? I questioned the Fextralife representative Matt Hook, who has been fully engaged in shepherding the project.
“What we're doing here is sincerely seeking to put the users first,” Hook states. “We want a excellent journey for the gaming community to be able to obtain custom content promptly and conveniently, and we want to compensate mod creators and participants in the scene with recognition and incentives.”
